Point, Line, Plane

I chose three images that I believe display the usage of point("position in space"), line("infinite series of points"), and plane("flat surface extending in height and width" Lupton/Phillips 32-34). Within these images, there is an emphasis on space and volume. I wanted to show how point, line, and plane appears in nature and in conjunction with man-made items. I believe the usage of space and volume adds elements of interest and helps draw the viewer in. The lines in these photos all point towards the center which helps anchor the viewer's eye. There is beauty in the simplicity of these images.

  3. I enjoy how all of your pictures include the body of water to be at the other end of the lines! It almost connects the viewer on one side to the water.
